This weekend, we took part in a dignified transfer and said goodbye to our friends, Sean and Lucy Cooper, as they began their journey back to the United Kingdom. It was a beautiful ceremony and our hearts go out to their family, friends, and the Royal Air Force’s 17 Squadron.

Kim wrote – There are just no words. Rest in peace Lucy Cooper and Sean Cooper, both taken way too young! Hope you’re still together up there Lucy, I’m glad you got the chance to follow your dreams in moving to and exploring America, you talked about wanting to do this for so long and you made it happen. So many happy memories that I will cherish forever – holidays to Spain, more nights out than I can remember (or not remember as the case may be), so many parties, even work was bearable because I was working with you. You and Sean are both in my hearts, I will miss you so much and am thinking of and sending prayers to both lots of families at this horrific time. Fly high angels.
