JUST IN! DSTV Named The New Premier Soccer League (PSL) Title Sponsor

It’s Official!! DSTV has been named the new the Premier Soccer League (PSL) sponsor which was formerly held by Absa.
The first division of the PSL will officially be called the DStv Premiership.
The new move came after Absa, the bank that has been bankrolling the country’s elite league for more than 13 years, announced it was terminating its R100-million a year sponsorship deal of the Premiership in June, citing the tough economic situation in the country as the reason.
Recall that the PSL Chairman Dr Irvin Khoza had announced the new move recently and it’s finally completed.
DSTV took to their official social media handle to announce the news to the public.
Via their twitter handle, they wrote – BREAKING NEWS #PSLAnnouncement: We are happy to announce that we are the new official title sponsor of the Official PSL.
