The Broome County Sheriff’s office said several people were injured following a single car crash early Thursday morning in Maine Township.

Police said the accident occurred around 12:17 am on Ashley Road.

12- The news saw a car that capsized in a ditch on the side of the road.

The sheriff’s office says four or five people were injured in the accident, but there was no word on the extent of the injuries.

Besides the sheriff’s office, the New York State Police, the Maine Fire Department, the Union Fire Center and a Maine ambulance were at the scene.

Officials told 12 News that the case is currently under investigation.
