Raegan Rollins & Brianna Mathis Dies In A Tragic Accident

Raegan Annette Rollins (19-years-old) and Brianna Mathis (19-years-old) has been identified as victims of the tragic car accident on Campbell street.

Raegan and Brianna deceased where involved in a fatal traffic accident involving two vehicles on Campbell Street near the area of Hillary Drive, August 10 2020.

The Jackson police department was alerted on August 10 at exactly 7:15 p.m about a traffic accident involving two vehicles. Police were dispatched to Campbell street for the rescue operation.

On arriving the scene responding officers and emergency medical personnel located three subjects suffering serious traumatic injury. All the occupants of the two vehicles were transported by Emergency Medical Services to a local hospital for medical treatment. Raegan and Brianna who were involved in the accident died as a result of injuries they sustained from the tragic crash.

Based on the preliminary investigation, the vehicle is driven Brianna Mathis crossed over double yellow lines into the path of the other vehicle causing the head-on collision. The preliminary investigation also suggests that neither of the deceased was wearing any safety equipment (seatbelts).

The Jackson Police are still investigating the fatal crash.

Raegan Rollins left behind her parents, Gary Rollins and Carla Rollins; her siblings, Caitlin Rollins of Dyersburg and Jeremy Rollins of Milan; and her grandparents, Reverend Gene and Joyce Rollins of Milan.

Ronny Louis Terry a friend to Raegan Rollins who commented on her death said she wasn’t expecting such news at this time.

Can’t believe I’m hearing the news that I wasn’t expecting. Lost a classmate so very young but gone too soon Prayers goes to the family. R.I.P. Reagan Rollins until we meet again in Heaven; she said.
