Indianapolis –  Our attention has been brought to reports of the shooting around Oriental Street and Marlow Avenue in which one man died and another man in serious medical condition as a result of the shooting in the eastern side of the town in the late Tuesday.

The incident happened around 11:30 pm, as officers were called to the Oriental Street and Marlow Avenue area. They found an adult man with multiple gunshot wounds. The death of the victim was announced at the scene. Another adult man was also shot and taken to a Skinazi hospital. In the last report, he was listed in critical condition from gunshot wounds.

The Police has revealed that there were several people in the 1,400-block area of ​​E. Marlowe Street when they arrived, describing it as a chaotic crime scene. Their interest is a duplex in the northeast corner of the Oriental and Marlowe.

“We don’t know how many people were inside or outside, or where the original disturbances started,” said Major Harold Turner, an IMPD spokesperson. “We have a lot of detained individuals … It is believed that this is a targeted incident between two groups of individuals.”
Investigators believe there is no ongoing danger to the public.
