The bodies of two women found on the R37 Chuenespoort/Polokwane Road, Limpopo has been identified as Lizette Deacon and Hettie. Lizette Deacon and her mother were earlier kidnapped from their townhouse in Welgelegen.
According to police, Lizette and her mother were found tied up and stabbed to death in an abandoned car on Thursday night.
Brig Motlafela Mojapelo, the police’s Provincial Communications Head, a manhunt said a man hunt has been launched for culprits to murdered the two women.
“The bodies of the women were found with several stab wounds, and their hands had been tied. The vehicle was found abandoned along the R37, next to the Kushcke off-ramp, following a high-density search operation that was launched soon after the attack.”
Even though the motive for the murders is unknown at this stage, robbery cannot be ruled out, he confirmed.

Lizette Deacon was a prominent businesswoman and much-loved figure in several circles. Lizette Deacon is the owner of the Ocean Basket restaurant in the Mall of the North.
