After questioning Rhea’s brother Showik and Sushant Singh Rajput’s house manager Samuel Miranda the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) arrested them in connection with the #drugs probe linked to the death of actor
The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Friday night arrested Rhea Chakraborty’s brother Showik Chakraborty alongside Samuel Miranda following a drug test related to the murder of actor Sushant Singh Rajput.
NCB deputy director KPS Malhotra said, “We have informed Showik and the family of Samuel Miranda and they have both been arrested under several sections of the NDPS law”. Both will be produced in court on Saturday, he added.
A team from the office raided the Showik residence in the Santa Cruz (West) area and the Miranda residence in the suburb of Andheri (West) in the early hours of Friday morning. Further evidence was taken from both places.
The NCB had earlier arrested two Mumbai drug traffickers named Zaid Vilatra and Abdel Basit Parihar.
