KwaZulu-Natal Shooting Today: 3 men killed in another shooting clash on Wednesday

About 3 KwaZulu-Natal men were killed in another clash on Wednesday.

According to police, four people were repairing a car in Taylors Halt, outside Pietermaritzburg, when an unidentified vehicle approached them and opened fire.

“Residents of the car opened fire on them, assisting three men. They are believed to be in their early 30’s. The fourth victim managed to escape after being injured and was taken to hospital, ”said police spokesperson Capt Nqobile Gwala.

This is another second such shooting in the province in two days.

On Tuesday, an unidentified gun opened fire on four men, aged between 40 and 56, at Adams Mission, south of Durban. A 44-year-old woman is in hospital after receiving a gunshot wound during the attack.

Following Tuesday’s incident, the Minister of Transport, Safety and Community Liaison in the Bheki Ntuli urged police not to “leave a stone unturned” to find out who caused the shooting.

Gwala said Taylors Halt police were investigating murder and attempted murder cases.
