#ripsubhasri_save30lakh: A girl committed suicide in the fear of NEET exams being conducted. The young girl identified R Subhasree who is 19-year-old of age from RS Puram was a medical aspirant.
According to report from sources, R Subhasree killed herself in Coimbatore on Tuesday, a day after the Supreme Court dismissed a plea for postponement of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test.
She sat for the exam last year and scored close to 450 marks. R Subhasree who wanted to study general medicine enrolled herself at a private coaching centre.
Supreme Court Dismissed Plea To Postpone NEET Exam
The Supreme Court had on Monday dismissed pleas seeking a postponement of NEET 2020 and JEE Mains 2020 examination on the grounds of coronavirus outbreak in the nation.
The plea was heard by a bench headed by justice Arun Mishra. The bench dismissed the plea, saying another postponement or cancellation of examination will put the ‘career of students in peril’. The apex court ruled that the examinations can be held under approved guidelines with all safety and measures.
