So sad to hear of the passing of guitar great Ron Heathman. His work with the Supersuckers and Hangmen was some of my favorite and I tried to rip off his style at every turn. Rest easy, Rontrose. pic.twitter.com/JmOIF1uO0W

Heard about Ron “Rontrose” Heathman passing. This one hits hard. Founding member of one of my favorite bands. Here’s a shot of him I grabbed of him when I got to shoot @SupersuckersRnR in 2007. pic.twitter.com/QPfCMQq3o4

I met Ron Heathman when I was twenty years old. Heartbroken tonight to learn that he’s gone. If Ron’s number showed up on your phone, you needed to block out three hours, minimum. I’ll miss him for sure. pic.twitter.com/7PXK6jm2Bi

RIP Rontrose Heathman. Saw the Supersuckers shortly after I moved to Denver in the mid-00’s. Talked to Ron before the show and told him I just moved there with only a few hundred $$$ in my pocket. He told me it would work out because I had the attitude. I’d say he was right. #RIP

Ron Heathman started his career in high school. Played in a couple of bands and then in a band with Eddie and our original drummer in the 80’s called Thai Pink. That morphed into the Black Supersuckers which turned into the Supersuckers.
