Huntington Avenue Shooting: 25-year-old man shoots himself after shooting his girlfriend in Worcester
A 25-year-old man has shot his girlfriend in Worcester this morning and then turned the gun on himself, police said.
While responding to the incident, police officers responded to the scene around 12:55 a.m. after a report of two people where shot on Huntington Avenue, the Worcester Police Department said in a statement. The shooting occurred inside a residence.
The 25-year-old man shot his 27-year-old girlfriend and then used the gun to kill himself, according to the Worcester Police Department statement.
Although his identity have not been made public.
He was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
The woman was taken to the hospital and is in critical condition, according to the department’s statement.
