Emmy Ann Wooding Died on October 24, 2004. Emmy died in a car accident while they were filming the Sixth Season.

The 37-year employee of Universal Studios Television and a longtime assistant at Wolf Films, died October 24 in a car accident. She was 57.

Emmy is survived by her husband Jack, two children and three grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 1, 12:30 p.m. at Forest Lawn-Hollywood Hills.

The seventh episode “Charisma” was dedicated to her memory.

What Is Law & Order: Special Victims Unit?

Law & Order: Special Victims Unit is an American crime drama television series, created by Dick Wolf for NBC. It stars Mariska Hargitay as Captain Olivia Benson, the commanding officer of the Special Victims Unit and formerly a lead detective, located in a fictionalized version of the New York City Police Department.

Christopher Meloni played the other lead detective, Elliot Stabler, until departing from the series after 12 seasons.

Law & Order: Special Victims Unit follows the style of the original Law & Order, in that episodes are often loosely based on real crimes that have received media attention (and thus sometimes described as being “ripped from the headlines”).

Emmy also worked for a long time at Wolf Films in Universal City, CA, as an assistant. Wolf Films is the venture of Dick Wolf, the creator and producer of ‘Law & Order’. In the beginning of her career, she worked for Frontier Cafe and Sumner Studios.

 

Emmy Ann Wooding is originally from Surprise, Arizona. Later she has lived with her family in Hawaii (Honolulu, Hanalei, and Princeville).

 

Then she moved to California and has lived at multiple locations throughout CA: Burbank, Universal City, North Hollywood, Los Angeles, and Palm Desert.
