Zoe Moon wrote “I’m so terribly sad to hear of the tragic accident that took Lora Somoza’s life yesterday, she was my friend and colleague and far too young to be gone so soon. I always looked forward to being on her show, splitting advice between ‘the sexpert’ and ‘the astrologer’ to caller questions, she always got a kick out of making me blush. She was so lovable, talented and smart, and this is just so shocking. My heart goes out to her family and my prayers are with her on her journey home. Love you Lora”

Vicki Abelson wrote “Shocking, heartbreaking, and unfathomable. Lora Somoza, a brilliant beauty with a one-of-a-kind-mind, suffered a fatal accident yesterday. My heart to Tom and Candy and all who knew and loved her.”

Michael Lally wrote “I just learned that one of the loves of my life has passed. Lora Somoza was also one of the most intelligent, most beautiful, most hilarious, and most unique humans I’ve ever known. We weren’t “boyfriend and girlfriend” for very long and it was many years ago, but we never ceased reaffirming our love for each other and how much we missed being together every time we saw each other or spoke on the phone or connected through comments on Facebook and other communications. I loved her from the moment we met and always will, and as devastated as I am by the news I can’t imagine the pain her father and mother, who she adored, must be going through. My condolences to them and all her family and friends and loves. God do we all miss you already and always will.”

Steve Gelder wrote “I just learned that my dear friend, Lora Somoza, had an accident that has taken her life. I’m shocked and stunned, and horrified for her family and all of her friends. She was a bright, funny, sexy, amazing lady, and I will miss her laugh and her humor and her spark for years to come.”

Damienne Merlina wrote “I am shocked. I am deeply sad for the loss of Lora Somoza. Anyone who knew her- knew how full of life she was! My deepest condolences to her Mom & Dad and I’m thinking about her dogs, who were her everything. Gone too soon is an understatement.”
