The director of Seapoint House, Rosbeg, Westport supermarket director, Mark Kavanagh has passed away. Mark Kavanagh died yesterday June 30 2020.

Mr Kavanagh, whose family owns Kavanagh’s SuperValu in the town, as well as Supervalu outlets in Claremorris, Castlebar and Kiltimagh, was predeceased seven years ago by his wife Claire, a daughter of renowned Irish musician Matt Molloy.

Mr Kavanagh was a director of Kavanagh’s SuperValu and worked in its various stores across Mayo. He is sadly missed by his parents Noel and Marian, brother Noel Jnr, sisters Sarah and Laura, brother-in-law Ronan Clancy, sister-in-law Síabhra, uncles, aunts, nephews, niece, relatives and friends.

Due to the HSE guidelines, Mark’s Funeral will be held in private. A memorial Mass to celebrate his life will be announced and take place at a later date.
