Tshegofatso Pule Murderer Arrested.. To Appear In Court

A 31-year-old man has been arrested by the Gauteng police in connection to the murder of 28-year-old woman identified as Tshegofatso Pule.

Tshegofatso Pule was found dead hanging from a tree on 8 June.

According to the police spokesperson Colonel Noxolo Kweza, the suspect was arrested over the weekend and found on his way to Mpumalanga.

His arrest was made known to the public in an official statement released by the police today.

The statement reads below:-

“We can confirm that we have arrested a 31-year-old suspect in connection with the killing of Tshegofatso Pule who was killed recently…The arrest was made over the weekend and over detectives were busy with the suspect yesterday [Tuesday].”

Pule was eight months pregnant.

The suspect will appear before the Roodepoort Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday.

Pule’s uncle Tumisang Katake, who is a lawyer, told Aldrin Sampear on POWER Talk last week that he will never represent a rapist or murderer ever again.
