A man identified as Norman Caves who reported missing few days ago has been found. The NSW Police Force earlier today announced via their official Facebook account that a man from Lake Macquarie is missing.

Police are appealing for public assistance to find a man missing from Lake Macquarie. Norman Caves, aged 27, was last seen at a home on Cedar Street, Cardiff, about 9.30am yesterday (Tuesday 2 June 2020). He is described as being of Pacific Islander/Maori appearance, about 175cm tall, with a thin build, black short hair and brown eyes.
He was last seen wearing a mustard-coloured jumper and khaki-coloured shorts and carrying a green backpack. Family and friends hold concerns for his welfare. Anyone who may have seen Norman is urged to contact Toronto Police Station on (02) 4088 1099 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
Few hours later Norman’s sister, Amz Porter Hiser confirmed that Norman Caves has passed away. In a Facebook post she wrote “Im absolutely heart broken, The older brother I never had. I love you forever and always Norman Charles Caves. Rest In Peace you beautiful soul ”
In a subsequent post, another Facebook user, Lily May Carlson posted “Rest easy my friend. I can’t believe I’m writing these words. From the moment we met I just remember the laughs we had. From our deep and meaningful chats, to you standing up for me I will forever cherish your beautiful soul. I love you Norman Caves “
