Uganda Commissioner for Domestic Texaes and Revenue, Dickson Kateshumbwa has resigned
Dickson Kateshumbwa has resigned from his job as URA’s Commissioner Domestic taxes.
The news of his resignation came on Friday evening after serving the the country as the commissioner for 14 years.
In his words, Dickson Kateshumbwa said he have decided to end his tour of duty ahead of his contractual period with immediate effect.
“Today after more than 14 years of service in the authority i have decided to end my tour of duty ahead of my contractual period with immediate effect” Mr Dickson said
Dickson Kateshumbwa has been the Chairman of the World Customs Organization (WCO) Council, he was appointed the Commissioner of Taxes and Revenue few months ago.
His reasons for resignation is still not known until he makes his final official statement by today.
