Our Perfect Wedding bride Stella Malebye has passed away

Our Perfect Wedding has lost one of it’s actress. OPW today announced that one of their actress passed away.

Our Perfect Wedding couple, Stella Mthembu “Soso” popularly known by her stage name as Stella Malebye has died. The cause of Stella Malebye death is still yet unknown. She died at the age of 46.

Announcing her death in an official Facebook post the Our Perfect Wedding Mzansi wrote “We were saddened to hear that our bride passed on shortly after the filming of this episode. Our deepest condolences go to her husband, family and friends. Rest in Peace, Stella Malebye. #OurPerfectWedding”

Stella was going through a messy divorce when she met David, and wasn’t in the right headspace to consider getting into a new relationship at that point.

How they met:

This was in 2015. The couple meet at David’s friends’ house. He was there to help his friend fit his new stove and it so happened that Stella was friends with the friends’ wife.

David liked Stella the moment he saw her. He stopped fitting the stove and followed her around the house, wanting to get to know her better. Stella’s friend tried to assure her that David was actually a good guy, but she wasn’t interested at first.

A week before Christmas, he asked to take her out for lunch but Stella didn’t respond. When she didn’t pitch, he went over to her house to ask about her whereabouts and was told she had actually left to attend a family gathering elsewhere.

She didn’t return until New Year’s eve and while at the mall, she bumped into him. David was so excited, he shouted, “My wife!” for all to hear at the mall, LOL! He even got a chance to ask for her number that day. That was the start of their relationship.

Challenges:

Both their exes have been quite the problem in their relationship, but the couple have stood by each other and managed to deal with each instance as best as they can.

How he proposed:

David is more of an outdoor person, so he took Stella to Sun City for an outing. While they were busy having lunch there, he just took out the engagement ring and said, “Here’s the engagement ring.”

Stella loves the fact that David is supportive and he loves the fact that she’s honest and respectful.
