Archer City, Texas, businessman, Michael Aulds has passed away. Michael Aulds, one of Archer City’s finest, tragically died in a car accident yesterday while traveling home from his Mississippi college town.
Michael Aulds death was made known to the public by Athena Buke Barnett who revealed that Michael Auld died on his father’s Peebles East birthday.

Just letting everyone know (Peebles East) Aulds’ son J Michael Aulds Jr. has pass away due to car wreck yesterday. And yesterday was Peebles’ birthday. Keep her family in your prayers. Safe travels as we, Mr. Van East and Ann Stewart heads to Texas in the morning.

John and Jackie in an emotional tribute on Facebook wrote “My heart is absolutely broken Kyler and Kaleb lost there very best friend yesterday. They were all like brothers. Prayers for the Auld’s family. Michael was like another son to us. We love you boys and pray for comfort and peace for us all during this difficult time Rest easy our sweet friend and give your precious Mom a hug from all of us”
Jordtn McLemore wrote “What people do not understand about small towns is that we are all one big family. Yesterday we lost a son, brother, and friend. Michael Aulds there wasn’t a time in life you weren’t smiling or making somebody smile. You had so much joy and courage. You were always helping people no matter what they needed and did it with a smile. You left us all with memories of a life time Michael and will be forever missed.

Josh Callahan described Michael as a fellow who would find a way to turn a negative situation to something positive., “Some things just can’t be explained why they happen. I was fortunate enough to be able to coach this young man. He would light up the room with his smile when he walked in. Didn’t matter the situation you might be in , he would find away to turn it into something positive. Michael Aulds you will be missed by many.”

Michael Auld at age 7 started moving lawns and when he clocked 12 years old, Michael established his own business, Dirty Mike and the Boys.
When his business started booming, Michael hired four employees to do lawn-care and firewood jobs, and he works side-by-side with them every day during the summer. When Aulds is in Texas he works with his four employees, but when he is in Oxford he works on his own.
Am proud that his business is “just a few young college kids who are young, willing, and able,” Auld said.
