Coldplay crew member, Ben Farrey has passed away

Who is Ben Farey? A member of the Coldplay music, Ben Farrey has passed away. Ben Farrey was Coldplay’s live visuals director. Ben Farrey was reported to have died on Wednesday May 13 2020. Ben Farrey cause of death was not made knwon to the public.

His death was disclosed to the public by Coldplay via their instagram page. Coldplay described Farrey as a talented crew membber.

“We’re sad to report that we lost one of our most beloved and talented crew members last night. Ben Farrey was our live visuals director. He was in charge of everything that you saw on the screens at our live shows.

If you ever made it to a show, you’ll know that he was ridiculously good at his job. He was also one of the kindest and most generous-spirited people you could ever meet. We love you, Ben. Guy, Will, Jonny, Chris, Phil and Dave”

Farrey who said he is the Coldplay’s video director was asked in a video shared by coldplay why he loved his job, he replied “What I really like is coming to work, because my work day is the day thousands of people have been waiting for,” he says with a smile. “The anticipation and the excitement — there’s some electricity in the air.”

The 96.1 Kiss FM have sent their tributes to the Cold’s family. “Sending our love to the @coldplay family. Ben Farrey, their live visuals director who was in charge of everything that you saw on the screens at live shows, passed away Wednesday.”
