Tunisia former minister and secretary general Chedli Klibi dies at the age 94.

The late Chedli was the former minister under Habib Bourguiba and former secretary general of the League of Arab States,he died on Wednesday May 13, 2020 at his home in Carthage.

His death was confirmed by the Busninessnews Tunisia on Wednesday 13, 2020.

He had occupied the post of secretary general of the Arab League for eleven years. He was director general of national radio in 1958, before being the Tunisian Prime Minister for Cultural Affairs, for several terms. He was also director of cabinet to President Bourguiba before being appointed Minister of Information from 1978 to 1979.

The late Chedli also served as mayor of Carthage from 1963 to 1990.

Chedli Klibi was a member of the House of Councilors from 2005. He remained a member of the central committee of the Constitutional Democratic Rally until the 2011 revolution.

Chedli Klibi (الشاذلي القليبي), was born on September 6, 1925, in Tunis, he is a Tunisian politician.
