The chairman of The Council for Medical Schemes (CMS) Dr Clarence Mini was on Tuesday morning May 12, 2020 pronounced dead.
The news of his death was confirmed by the The council’s general manager,Grace Khoza revealing that Dr Mini had been hospitalized for months after testing positive to covid-19.
According to Khoza, everyone had hoped that Mini’s hospitalization would lead to his recovery.
“This wonderful, compassionate and likable individual leaves a legacy of having served this country and industry in many capacities with great distinction. Dr Mini leaves behind his beloved children Yandi and Nomhle, but above all his soul mate and best friend Mrs Nancy Mini. He shall be sorely missed by his family, colleagues and all industry stakeholders. May his dearly departed soul, rest in peace,” Khoza said.
