A man identified as Sean DaDon Reed was fatally shot and killed by Indianapolis police on May 6 2020. The incidence which was captured on Sean DaDon’s Facebook live video shows the moment Reed gunshots were fired after a hot chase by the police.

In the video Sean DaDon was seen being chased by Indianapolis police and some minutes later he packed his car by the roadside and was heard saying ”am at 62nd and Michigan streets and later he drove off again as the police continues to give him a hot chase which at a point of the run his phone fell of the dash board and gunshots were heard.

The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) have confirmed that a man died in the shooting and that shots were fired by “both officers and suspect.” They did not provide the name of the victim, but it is presumed to be Reed.

Moments the gunshots were heard from the video background the police approached Reed while the Facebook live stream continued.

When they approached Reed, an officer was heard saying, “Oh he actually got one off?” and another presumed officer saying: “think it’s gonna be a closed casket homie.” The video continues for a few minutes until an officer approaches and turns it off.

The incident happened precisely at 6:20 P.M near the intersection of West 62nd street and North Michigan Road.

A public information officer for IMPD stated and confirmed that there was a shooting by the police which lead to the death of a young man but no police officers were shot during the incident.

Sean DaDon’s last words before he got shot

“62nd and Michigan! Somebody come get my stupid a–. Please come get me,” the man believed to be Reed can be heard yelling on camera.

“I just parked this m———-r, I’m gone,” he continues.

Reed then yells, “F*** you,” at which point he groans and drops his phone to the ground.

Cops have confirmed that the officer involved in the shooting has been placed on administrative leave pending the ongoing investigation.
