Good Morning Britain anchor, Piers Morgan tests positive to coronavirus

Piers Morgan has left his fans wondering if he will still anchor his Good Morning Britain show on televion after the news of him testing positive to covid-19 emerged online.

According to Piers who said he tested positive to the virus after he was advised to take the test by his doctor when he suddenly showed possible symptoms.

 

“UPDATE: My COVID-19 test was negative. I was advised to take the test by my doctor after developing possible coronavirus symptoms, and was entitled to do so as a Govt-designated essential worker.
“I’ll be back on @GMB as soon as my doctor advises I’m OK to return to work.” He said

The 55-year-old presenter was forced off air when he started feeling sick, and now that he had been tested for Covid-19 he would not be back onscreen until gets the results back.

Piers said he is not coming back to the show until he gets well or gets the result back by tomorrow.

“UPDATE On medical advice, and out of an abundance of caution for a mild symptom that arose in past 48hrs, I’ve had a test for COVID-19 and so won’t be working on @GMB until I get the result back, which should be tomorrow.” He revealed.
