According Zuchu, Diamond has already from on set when they started going out in public cautioned on the path she chooses about men and love. He told me about men who either determine my make or break me in my music career.
Ever since her signing into Wasafi’s record label, Zuchu has turned out to be a star and front liner in Tanzanian music label.
In a recent interview with Bongo 5, Zuchu spoke about her journey into the music sphere and how her boss cautioned her about fame and men.
He had already cautioned me even before we started going out in public. He sat me down and told me that men are there and love is there.
Naseeb had every reason to believe that men are already threatened by the gifted artiste’s success and would try every means to pull her down.
Falling in love would be a direct ticket to a downfall – Diamond told her.
The East Africa’s Simba asked his female artiste to be wise in her decisions and use the fame to improve her life and that of her mother.
Men can come across your profile, feel intimidated by you and work towards bringing you down. You therefore need to be wise in your decisions and know that this career is supposed to boost your life. I would advise you to settle, help yourself and you mother.
Further disclosing that Diamond had reiterated this to her several times and it was his hope that she had listened.
So it is something he has told me that not once or twice, he has repeated that to me severally.
Asked why he probably kept reminding her about men, love and her career, Zuchu expressed:
I don’t know probably he fears for me.
However, the budding artist stated she is currently single.
I am not engaged for a long time now.
