At least 36 names appeared twice in the approved list of beneficiaries of DSWD’s SAP in a brgy in Valenzuela City, documents showed. This is not an isolated case as double entries were also shown in the list of beneficiaries of other places.

The discovery came after the chairwoman of Barangay Bagbaguin uploaded on her Facebook account the complete list of beneficiaries, which was solely processed and approved by DSWD personnel.

The chairman of Bgy. Bagbaguin clarified that the list was processed and approved by the DSWD and not by village officials. Mayor Rex Gatchalian said he could not answer in behalf of DSWD when sought for comment.

A 15-page document with 652 entrieS showed that the names of at least three dozen individuals either appeared again or were rearranged in another entry.

But he assured that DSWD personnel are conducting re-validation of beneficiaries during payouts.
