South African President Cyril Ramaphosa will today Friday  24 April 2020 visit sites identified as COVID19 facilities in Gauteng.

The president will be accompanied by the Premier David Makhura, the President will commence his programme at Nasrec where he will do a walkabout of a hall demarcated as a quarantine/ isolation facility.

The President while speaking yesterday evening on a live broadcast addressed the nation on additional economic and social relief measures that will form part of Government’s response to the #COVID19 pandemic.

The total number of confirmed cases in Gauteng sits at 1148. There are 551 recoveries, with 2771 people discharged from the programme discharged case are those who were confirmed contacts and have since been cleared.
