Public Service, Labour and Social Welfare minister Prof Paul Mavima visits 65 returnees quarantined at Belvedere Teachers training College as part of standard policy of screening, testing & quarantining or isolation of all returnees to contain the spread of COVID-19.

The 65 Zimbabweans returnees who returned back form United Kingdom on Tuesday 21 April 2020 refused to be quarantine at Belvedere Technical Teacher’s College because of the deplorable state and nature of the of the facilities provided for them to stay.

The United Kingdom has extended visas to May 31, 2020, for all foreigners who could not leave the country due to travel restrictions or self-isolation related to coronavirus.
