Who Is Emma Theofilus

Emma Theofilus is a lawyer and social justice advocate with a demonstrated track record of working in the legal services and advocacy industry.

She is skilled in public speaking, legal research, public relations management, gender equality and children; and youth activism. Attribute of strong diplomatic skills, Emma is shaping the world through the Global Shapers at the World Economic Forum Windhoek Hub.

Early Years &  Education

Emma did her National Senior Secondary In Khomas High School – 2010 – 2014

She obtained her LLB (Honours) Degree from the University of Namibia and Diplomas in Business Management and Afrikan Feminism and Gender Studies.

Work Experience & Her  Political Career

To monitor the changing higher education landscape in Namibia in terms of the new improved mechanisms that have been put in place in the sector and which drive and assure quality in Namibian institutions of higher education.

Emma is a Board Member of National Council of Higher Education – December 2017 – 2020

She is a Co-founder of Southern African Alliance on Youth Emplooyment – Namibian Chapter – September 2017 -2020

She is a Youth Commissioner – Namibia National Commission for UNESCO – Octorber 2017 – 2020

Deputy Speaker Childeren’s Parliament Of The Republic Of Namibia – May 2015 – 2020
