South African Information regulator has revealed the company employers in the country will henceforth force it on their workers to get tested for the deadly coronavirus disease that has taken the world by storm and ravaged so many businesses around the world.

According to the SAIR, the employers are expected to ask for the specific health history and information of their workers this is to the strict compliance of the new health guidelinesĀ  from the South Africa govt.

This new guidance will see to effect that any employee that refuses to comply by getting the covid-19 test will have his/her job suspended and as well barred from workplace, it is also expected of their bosses to report or notify health authorities of their workers health status if they have the virus.

Employees that tested positive to covid-19 will have their health details made available to the health authorities and immediately subjected to quarantine where mandatory clinical treatment will be carried out.


South Africa on Friday have recorded 7 deaths so far and 1,500 cases of infected persons with covid-19.
