A Nigerian health Tech startup Lifebank is partnering with NIMR to launch first of it kind COVID-19 drive through test center in the country.
The healthcare company Lifebank which is also into logistics on Monday launched the country’s first Covid-19 drive through mass testing center in Lagos which is one of the most populous state in the country.
The flag off and official launch of the health center which is in collabration with the Nigerian Institute of Medical Research (NIMR), and other organizations committed to the fight against the deadly Coronavirus outbreak including the Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC). will solve the need of Nigerians to run a Covid-19 test without having to wait for days before they can go through the test.
In a report disclosed by the agency sais that the drive-through mass testing center will make it easier for testing of patients ith the cases of coronavirus that meet the country’s center for disease control (NCDC) national case statistics.
“The drive-through mass testing center will make testing easier and faster for cases that meet the NCDC national case definition,” said Temie Giwa-Tubosun, founder of LifeBank.
“We know the importance of testing in the fight against COVID-19 and we believe that this mass testing center will be a shot in the arm in the national efforts targeted at flattening the curve.”
